Facility Engineer

Job Description

The Facility Engineer should be able to develop and implement utility plans, perform system evaluations, establish operational efficiency, and serve as a liaison to support the various business units.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Planning and tracking of all facility maintenance works

• Analyzing project costs and preparation of budgets

• Ensure that proper facility installations/renovations are being carried out on-site

• Instill good facility maintenance practices and a safety culture

• To investigate root cause of facilities failures

• Designing and overseeing the implementation of facility expansion, layout and various systems

• Maintain quality assurance system related to facility maintenance

• Monitor facility performance data to establish good control parameters

• Take charge of routine servicing teams and repair teams

• Lead working level community exploring opportunity for improvement projects

• Any other duties related to facility as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related field

• At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a fast-pace, high growth deep technology/manufacturing environment/start-up

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP and AutoCAD

• Good knowledge of building process, renovation, construction principles and all relevant regulations and building codes

• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, must be able to communicate clearly and effectively

• Self-driven, motivated, analytical and able to make things happen and be responsible for the outcome
